Much more than a bookkeeper
Albert Wright, managing director of Small Business Solutions Ltd in North London, was looking for a part-time financial manager. “I needed a bookkeeper, but was hoping to find someone who could play a broader role in the business.”
Albert registered with Trading Times. “I was matched with a local semi-retired accountant, and an experienced financial advisor; both were willing to work the hours I needed and with hourly rates to suit my budget. I will certainly use Trading Times again. It offers value and speed, and the local aspect is an added plus.”

Staffing budgets go further
Malcolm Godfrey, general manager of Avenue House Estate Trust in North Finchley, has recruited through Trading Times: “Trying to find someone who has all the relevant in-depth knowledge and experience can be difficult and expensive. Trading Times is a more sensible approach. Instead of having to pay agency fees and commission, we have found the perfect candidate (he actually started today!), and we can afford to pay him what he’s worth. I can achieve much more with my staffing budget.”

Just what the business needed
Liz Backhouse from Hotsquash.com in Barnet, says “Our small fashion company is growing rapidly. We needed extra hands to help cope while we recruited permanent people. Trading Times matched us with two candidates with the skills and availability we needed. Their hourly rates were good too. We’ll get them in again whenever he have demand peaks.”
